This thread is for those running a dedicated or virtual server who get into site tuning etc.
I have changed the way caching works on our server.
FYI We use memached (http://memcached.org/)to improve the site performance and I have added a lot more items to the cache in the last couple of weeks.
It seems to be working nicely... (each hit means a database query not executed, but got from memory instead)
