I have negotiated to buy a lovely Nikkor 300 f/4 lens and 1.4X TC from Ausphotography member cupic (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/member.php?5018-cupic), so look out local birdies (feathered variety)! I'll be putting my stalking shoes on just as soon as the deal goes through and my new kit arrives! Yeehah!!!

Waz, now all you'll need is a fringe on top - so the "Chicks and ducks and geese better scurry" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss1CXo8QMi8)
:rolleyes:m.

Congratulations, Waz! A great combo indeed.

I can just see the birdies quivering in their boots waiting to be photographed! :)

Me too, Lance! All those little suckers that hovered just out of reach of my 55-300 zoom won't know how to calculate 300mm + 1.4xTC + 1.5 crop = Gotcha! :D
