Well, and here's FFOX 19 - and the progress meter NO LONGER SHOWS.
I was using "Status-4-Evar". It all LOOKS OK, but nothing happens. Checked what toolbars I've got - all good.
Tried a new progress meter - "Progress Meter 1.2" - still nothing shows.

Anyone else had this "Progress" with the latest FFOX? Any solutions?

Ta, Am.

Is this for downloading things? It appears as a small arrow to the right of your address bar. It will show a time under it when it is downloading (time to go) and when it has finished, it becomes a green arrow. You can click the arrow to bring up a pop-up showing the progress/recently completed files.

No, Rick. That's not the one I mean. I know that one. This is the (usually) green bars that go across the bottom (or under the URL) to show your page load progress instead of the silly spinning circle that has become the rage.
Am.

STOP PRESS: It's back. Well, I now have two installed, and one of them is back. I re-enabled "S-4-Evar" and...

Yep. It looks like "S-4-EVAR". Still, any insights wouldn't hurt(???)

Must be a glitch. Am using "S-4-EVAR" on FF19 and all is (and has been) well.

Ta Mark. It sure must have been - thanks to those recent UFO sightings, no doubt! [Invent some here.]
No kidding, I tried it on some "slower sites" and couldn't get a peep out of it. A couple of re-starts of FF and still 0-thing.
I even installed a 2nd one - the same!

Finally, a complete removal, re-installation and there it was again.
Oh well! Another oddity.
(Like this new one: I cannot get the "More" icons to open up.)
