Hi everyone!

I've been interested in photography for a while but only decided to start taking it more seriously this year. I've got a Nikon D600 with a couple of lenses (really liking my new 70-200mm f4). I'm interested in portraits and motorsport/car photography - and people and cars in general. :)

LOL - well I tried to put some up but they were quickly taken down (V8 Supercars pics not allowed on here :() - so I'll have to wait until I've got some shots which don't include any potential corporate issues. :P

** EDIT **
The pics are back (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showthread.php?117337-New-camera-new-V8-season) - thanks to the even being a practice day rather than a race.

Unfortunately, that is outside our control. It is the Sports Bodies and venues that are dictating these entry terms and conditions. Leaving them on Ausphotography risks the site being issued with a take down notice (http://www.unimelb.edu.au/copyright/information/new/infringement/takedowns.html), or worse, a legal request for your details so you can be pursued over the images. Ultimately it could lead to Ausphotography being taken off-line completely, if we did not comply.

I understand completely.

I'm just not sure where we went wrong as a society when we we need special permission to promote or present corporate advertising. They should be thanking websites that show their sponsors, not stamping on them.
