Late this year Comet Ison will make a pass of our lovely planet. Comet Ison was only discovered in September 2012 and is classed as a 'sungrazing' comet.

Around the 28th November 2013 Comet Ison will pass by Earth, so close that it will appear larger than a full moon. It should be visible no matter where you live on Earth. It is also possible that the comet will be visible during daylight hours, as well.

It should start to become visible by August/September and be visible to the naked eye during October.

There is a chance however that as Comet Ison passes by our Sun, at around 800,000 miles from the surface of the sun, that it could break up. If this happens we could be treated to a spectacular scene in December as the fragments of the comet become visible in our skies.

From the information in the link you provided, it wont be bigger than a full moon - it will be BRIGHTER than the full moon. Should still be the most spectacular comet for some time.
