Ok, I say strobe. But suffice to say I am talking about any kind of lighting.

I have mentioned this "Trigger Trap" thing but that is more shutter control rather than lighting.

I have seen some interesting things happening with timing of light rather than shutter.

So I could have the shutter open, and pulse the light many times thus getting "multiple exposures" and weird affects.

Now, at the nitty gritty level, there are flashes and there are other lights. I am not sure if there are any advantages to either type.

So I am asking here.

hmmmmmmmmmmm, very vague

I guess you are talking about the stroboscopic feature on speelites where you can pulse the flash at a certain rate for a given number of pules, resulting in images that look a bit those in this Flickr Group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/562313@N22/)

Thanks.

Yes, that kind of thing.

As I am NEW to this, I am unable to be clear on exactly what I want/am doing because ...... I am new.

Ya gotta start somewhere.

The things you will need
1) A flash or speedlite with the stroboscopic feature (580EXII, 600EX)
2) A dark room
