Hi folks,

I'm Mark, I live in Melbourne Australia.

I have a Canon 650D with the 2 kit lenses (18-55 EF-s II and 50-200 EF-s)

I've put orders in to the family (bring on Xmas) for:
HorusBennu Camera Tripod 747X (56") w/ BallHead NS-BH1 Red
and a Canon Speedlight EX 320 Flash

I don't have a lot of expendable $$ so a decent lens will be a while away.

I'm looking at mostly doing Basketball shots, Family portraits, some macro and general scenery.

It's been a long while since I played with an SLR (an old Chinon kit), but still have it with a few different sigma lenses and filters. The body, is not much good now and bleeds light, but dang if it didn't used to take brilliant shots.

Anyway, I'm a forum stalker, and have been looking around for newbie advice.

Hello and Welcome to AP.. Its all about sharing here, so will be looking forward to seeing what you post on the Forums.
I dont know that Canon Speedlight EX 320 Flash though I am sure any of the Yongnuo Flashes are just as good and cheaper.
