Hi, I've taken to photograpgy while unemplyed recently and acquired a reasonable camera Olympus Pen EPL1 with 14-45mm standard lens kit. I began using a 8 MPixel Olympus Point and shhot and got some reasonable shots with a lot of trial and error, but the manual controls on the Pen really provide for the creativity I wanted. I take a few landscapes and nature shots because there aren't many young women willing to pose for me. LOL. Hoping to share some photos at some stage after I downsize them and also get some tips and advice from some of you. I'd be interested to know if there are any other PEN owners here.

:gday: & Welcome
- lets see some photos in the main CC forums (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?5) maybe try a competition or 2 and have fun!

Maybe have a look at the New to Photography (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=Indexes:New_To_Photography_Book) book and the Learning Plan in the book.

Welcome to AP, we have quite a few members with mirrorless camera's now, so though they might not have the Oly ones, they are certainly a growing aspect of photography. See you on the forums

G'day and welcome prw

.... I'd be interested to know if there are any other PEN owners here.
Not everyone looks at intros, so you could post that question here http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?32-Camera-Lens-Gear-Talk
and seems like some regulars here use it http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showthread.php?93962-A-bit-more-reach-for-my-EPL1

Hopefully see you 'round AP. :th3:

Cool. This is a great place to expand your knowledge and experience. Do what I rarely get time to do & post lots of photos. The Cc is good.
