No one likes to keep their camera gear in the car but sometimes it cant be avoided, keeping it out of view is not a issue but what do we all about the 50c + temperatures . I have toyed around keeping my camera in a esky lined with foam to protect the camera but after a few hours the inside of the esky would still reach ambient temperature. Does anyone else have a storage method ?

Take it with you. You cant' take photos if your camera is in the car ....

I carry a lot of gear with me everyday all through Perth summers and I've not had any problems with gear getting too hot In a normal camera bag in the shade - except my iPad.

Did you experience any specific issues?
