Hi. I just bought my first DSLR and am looking for like minded people and of course advise and information. I bought a DVD with my camera and have found it a great starting point. Now to go out and shoot shoot shoot. I suppose from here it's just practice? Would love to catch up with anyone around the Gold Coast area keen to catch up and share any information (unfortunately my knowledge and sharing wont be very comprehensive)....:(

Awesome. Thanks, guys. Think my nose will be stuck to You Tube and the library here for a while. lol. Thanks for the suggestion. Took a photo of my puddytat yesterday that I was pretty proud of (I'm sure it has heaps wrong but I like it and it got me used to aperture). Has anyone seen this DVD or have any comments? http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod6750.htm
