Yeap another newbie here :) Starting down the path of more advanced photography and trying to learn how to take a photo right without using post processing programs at least till I learn all there is to taking good photos.

Welcome aboard. Prepare to spend your life learning if you want to learn all there is to taking a good photo. Cause it will take a lifetime and even then you will still not have learned it all.
