I saw there was a thread showing links to all the wonderful website people have.

My question to you all is who created your sites and what costs are involved?

Are people using photography templated sites with hosting packages or are there good free options?

depends what YOU want. There are heaps of template sites out there, with some offering printing etc as well.

smugmug
zenfolio

and more

But then you have a third party who you have to deal with and adhere to their rules re printing etc. So there are benefits to paying a web designer to build one, but then you have to fulfill your own orders, whereas the above sites offer printing and dispatch services, done on your behalf.

It really depends what you want.

I spent last week looking at all of the above, plus other options including getting my own site made from scratch. In the end I decided *removed, members with less than 30 days membership and/or 50 posts cannot promote companies. Refer to the site rules (3-7)*
