Hi everyone
As the title says, first post and first time to the site. Liked what I saw and have decided to join. Looking forward to gaining a wealth of knowledge on this new hobby that I'm pursuing and hopefully will be able to give something back as I go forward.
I've just bought a Pentax K-r with the 2 kit lenses plus I have an Olympus SW1020(for my Fishing). I'm liking landscapes and macro of animals, this is mainly due to my love of fishing. I see photography as a way of capturing what I see when I'm out trying to catch that elusive fish I'm targeting.
I'm also lucky in that I have access to a few other manual pentax lenses from the K1000 days that my partner used many moons ago plus it was her main hobby so I can get plenty of help from her :).
Looking forward to spending many hours reading and learning
