My name is Darren and I have been living here for 16 years.I am a teacher by trade but would like to push my photography more when I return to Australia in May.After travelling to every prefecture here in Japan I am sure I can offer advice to anyone planning a trip here,On a personal note, I am looking forward to photographing my own country for a change.I am originally from Maitland, NSW.
Anyway I hope to be active on this site and benefit from the exchange of knowledge and opinions regarding photography and particularly how it relates to Australia, as I have been blessed to be living in a very camera-friendly country for so long.
If I were to choose one thing that I would like to specialise in, it would be portrait photography and off-camera flash (strobism? :) ) but I do also enjoy shooting landscapes if they really grab me.But really, faces take me places.
