Passionate ameteur photographer living in Brisbane , Australia. Spent the last decade living in Calgary, Canada, recently returned to Oz.
Enjoy landscapes, nature, wildlife and anything unique. But most of all enjoy the hunt for new ideas and the concept of transforming an idea into a captivating image.
Lovely wife, Brenda and 2 daughters Devan and Ella who keep us very busy.
Shoot with all Nikon gear, with a few third party lenses. D40 was my introduction to dslr, but soon moved to the D90, Now a D700. Lenses: 50F1.8, 85F/1.4 AF-D, 24-70 F/2.8, 80-200 F/2.8 AF-D, 300 F/4, 100 F/2.8 Tokina macro, Sigma 10-20, Tokina 11-16 F/2.8 and a couple SB-600's. As well as a bagfull of other accessories.
I quickly learned that a photographer can have far more impact on a resulting image than gear can. But once you understand that, then you long for more gear. :)
Look forward to utilising the forums for a bit more local knowledge and maybe receive and provide some critiques.
