    did i get a good deal?

    just picked up a sigma 150-500 lens off ebay for $700 used, but looks in mint condition with original box and all parts. thought it seemed like a good price?

    Hard to tell without seeing some output from the lens. It may be a good buy or it may be a "pup" if it was a "bad copy". How it looks on the outside is irrelevant to how it performs on your camera, so let us know how it goes.

    yes a Sigma 150-500 for $700 is a good deal..as long as it works as it should

    I have this lens and one bit of advice I can give you, it loves light. No light, no fun. Oh and start doing weights if you gonna handheld for any amount of time.
