    50D-Open Box-Charge-Focus-Press

Well, some may have seen today I bought my 50D. Charged it in the office. Had to work late so drive in the drive way, had a quick cuppa with the missus and out of the box, battery in, lens on and with a quick set to manual, which took me a few minutes to work out in view of the different control to the 400 snapped a couple of quick pics at what ever was within shooting distance - phew! that feels good.
Followed on with some shots of the 400D for the classified too.

If this rough and ready snap is any indication of what I can expect from my 50D with good glass I am over the moon and can't wait to start working the sucker tomorrow. 15 mins in the hand and already I am starting to feel this is one sweet camera.

    Mike :-)

Congrats on the purchase mate, it'll definitely keep up, but just watch that hard drive space disappear.

Lol, that is for sure Allann. I have shot in RAW for a while now and almost fell of the chair when I seen the file size. Better go and buy that 1Tb drive I seen :-)

Hi Shelley, yes I have to admit it was really very different to my 400d. I really did enjoy the 400 but was time move up. Tomorrow will be a very interesting day as I ease into the camera.
