Amen - I just hope the sensor at high iso is improved. I dont think the difference in the 7D to the 70D was that significant an improvement... but fingers crossed.

Plus so many lenses I'd like canon to bring out... a 14-24, new 100-400... V2 of the TS lenses...

I am wishing that Canon will finally a 7DmkII - 'coz then Nikon will have to finally be forced to reveal with great fanfare, (or bury forever?) the mythical D400.

Canon appear to be spending more time worrying about video than increasing sensor capabilities.

Might be their way of adding to the value of DSLRs so it can compete with phone cams since phone cams are portable and have both video and stills.

Admittedly phone cams usually have lower quality stills and videos but the portability can't be beat by DSLRs yet.

Wish they would get a move on I have waited so long to upgrade my 40D to the 7D's successor. Don't need any more lenses.
Last week I almost talked myself into buying the 70D which is not what I want, so that 7D's successor cant get here quick enough for me.

I shoot with Olympus Cameras.. Sometimes Canon and My iPhone SE 2020
