just got the 50-500 back from having the mould cleaned from the lens, very windy but had to have a go anyway
needed some more depth.
This lens(2 years) was very tatty and had lost most of it's paint from the outer casings , not from abuse I might add,most disappointing . But anyway the lens has come back looking like new so they must have given it a complete work over
a granddad and enjoying every minute of it.

This shot is wonderful.
I have a lens that has a fungi on the inside and the photography shop I took it to said not worth getting it repaired to invest in a new lens.

$500 to get the bigma cleaned , they also re coated the casings as all the paint was peeling away.Originally Posted by Tabaqui
