    Another dodgy wedding tog story

And another UK story as well. What is it with the wedding tog industry over there ?

    http://www.news.com.au/world/martin-...-1226025236335

Some of the comments are pretty scary, and some clearly ignorant of what it takes to be a good quality photography. Especially this one :
"Book a cheapy and you get what you pay for ... besides most wedding photographers are a rip off and charge way too much. Instead of wasting $1500 on a photographer use the money and buy some decent photo equipment and have a wedding guess doing the job. Trust me the results will be much better."

firstly, its a videographer, the actual wedding photographer did well

secondly, ### is it a story in the first place or even reported here ?

Just gives all of us a bad name for no reason.

He's a videographer. It is bad enough the job that he has done, but now he is being called a photographer with no reason. You can't blame a photographer, but sensationalism will produce even more comments about poor photography and being ripped off. At least call him for what he is and not stain the reputation of photographers with his poor behaviour.

Buried in the article in the second last paragraph was
Luckily we had a really good photographer who took some pictures.
. Sensationalism wins, notwithstanding that the bride wasn't exactly gushing about her wedding pics.

Mrs Shubrook said: 'He turned up to our wedding with scars all over his face and when he was asked about them he said he was a cage fighter.
That's funny. Then I saw his picture and realised it was even funnier.

I thought the same thing. No wonder he had scars, he doesn't look able to defend himself.

Anyway I have just posted another story, much more sensationalised by our own ACA with little having been done wrong by the photographer other than not explaining adequately his packages and what they entatil. Who's right

For those members who may not know too much about the Daily Mail in the UK: the first thing you should do after opening a link to their website, is close it. Think of the Herald Sun but with even less news...
