It appears my email account has had the the contacts list hijacked and sending spam.
I only have a couple of people from AP on that list, so...
I WILL NOT BE SENDING YOU ANY EMAILS IN THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE.
I WILL NOTIFY YOU THROUGH HERE WHEN IT HAS BEEN "CLEANED UP".
MEANWHILE, PLS DELETE ANY EMAILS FROM ME UNOPENED.

They haven't stolen your email contact list, they are using your email account to send them, thus your yahoo account itself has been hacked. As per my PM.
Change your yahoo password
Change passwords on sites where you have used the same PWD as your yahoo one.
Once they cannot get into your yahoo account, the emails will stop. Ah the joys of being on the net...eh?

Rick is correct AM. Happened to my hotmail account last year too. Once you get your password sorted, put your another of your mail addresses into the address book. If it happens again, you be one of the first to know, like I was. I don't normally send spam to myself. It wasn't just spoofing of the email address. It was a hack into the hotmail system. Maybe the Chinese hackers are using it to train future cyber-warfare specialists.

On a mildly pleasing note, I have changed all my passwords, including here, and it (OBVIOUSLY) works.

Just a heads up. I have started getting people (unknown to me) wanting to add me via my yahoo messenger. Not sure if is related to this, but anyone on Am's email list might want to watch who they add to their messenger contacts, just in case.

It has been sent using the BCC box only to maintain your privacy.
