A quick introduction

Hi all,
Just a quick Introduction to say hi. My name is Degan and I've been messing around with cameras (mostly point and shoot) for a few years, occasionally fluking a decent shot. I decided to buy an SLR and see if I can, well, have a bit more luck. I've got a basic knowledge of things like shutter speed, aperture, and composition, but looking forward to learning so much more through forums like this.
