Just took delivery of a Tamron 17-55mm f/2.8 lens with a 67mm Marumi CIR-PL filter.

Haven't had a proper go with it, as I'm still at work. But after snapping a couple of shots, it seems to be pretty sharp!

Looking forward to having a proper whirl with it over the coming days (company xmas party tomorrow and a 21st on Saturday, they should be good tests)

    Purchased for $272 + $26 + $65 postage from eGlobalDigitalCameras.com.au

Decided to "shave" my signature ;]
    Now mostly shoots with: Canon 5D MK3 & Canon 24-70 f/2.8/50mm f/1.8 (also have a 550D with a variety of lenses/goodies and a Sony Nex-5N)
PP with: Lightroom only, Photoshop is merely a 9-5 work tool for me.

Manfrotto 055XPROB + 308RC ballhead. Ballhead came with the tripod and not sure how it will fair for panning. Certainly a long way in front of not having anything at all

A camera for the poor bloody left hander

What about a camera for the 10-14% of us who are left handed?

The only left-handed camera I can remember was an old Exacta 35mm film SLR that my father gave me when I was about 11y.o.
He got it in the mid-to-late 1950's.
I loved that camera, partly because it was my first SLR, and that it was set up for left handers, even having the shutter release on the left side.
