    Colour IQ Test

I'm sure this has been posted before, but I can't find it and when I thought I did using google search, it said "no thread exists", maybe it has been archived! Anyway new members will like it and older members can give it a go again!

This just came through my RSS feed on Petapixel and now that I have a new IPS monitor etc I thought I would give it another go. I can't remember my score last time but it certainly wasn't perfect. This time though, PERFECT SCORE!!

The site is here, let us know your score!

    7 for me.

I haven't calibrated my monitor for a while, I wonder if that would make any difference?

I was waiting for someone with a colour deficiency to do the test , Was interested in seeing what score they would get , I thought you may still be able to pick out the tonal graduations , Guess not

11 - pretty good for my little laptop I think!!

Geez, my eyes are stuffed after that....If I did the test again I am sure I would fail due to the coloured spots floating infront of my eyes now!

Nope The odd thing is I almost never have an issue in day to day life and my understanding is my colour blindness is considered slight but it obviously makes a massive difference in tests of this nature.

I was going to post a new thread, but the index picked up it had been around before.

As it seems to have been quite a while ago (and the thread indicated the old link is broken anyway - here it is again.

Take the test - it's harder than it seems. I and a fellow photographer scored a 3 so I sent it to Peter Eastway (one of Australia's top pro landscape photographers) - he of course scored a perfect zero!

PS: I had to copy and paste the link into my browser to get it to work.

While since I've done that test. Tried to do it as quickly as possible, and without using the eye dropper in Photoshop scored an 8. Green-blue wasn't great.

I imagine doing it before being sat working at the computer for 6 or 7 hours would yield a different result.
