I am looking for a new strap to hold my camera, I would prefer one without quick release clips or anything like that, can anybody suggest any suitable models?

Thanks, they both look like what I want
Paul,
I use the Op Tech strap, specifically the "Pro" model -
http://optechusa.com/product/detail/...&CATEGORY_ID=4
apart from being very comfortable (I regularly use with 50D+Grip+70-200_2.8LIS) it has a sturdy quick release clip and a whole range of optional attachment straps -

I have attached 'extra' ones to other camera(s) & binoculars and easily swap strap between them as required.
I purchased mine on the 'bay...

Scarlet letters aren't that bad.. I rather like L
+1 for Optech pro straps
I also use Rapid Straps which have quick clip on/clip off ability but they're not neck straps.
Thanks for that, I will check them out.
I have the crumpler one too, actually just bought one for my father, and he seems to like it as well.
it's a little longer then the stranded straps and a lot more comfortable
I also have a R-strap which I use for street shooting... well i really use it for anything that doesn't require a tripod as it takes up that thread in the bottom of the camera. It's just a lot more natural to use than a normal neck strap. i get a fair few curious photographers coming up to me wondering how it handles.

+1 for the R-Strap. I love it, also use it all the time when not requiring a tripod. Very comfortable. Worth watching the videos on Black Rapid's site to see how it works as I'm sure it's not for everyone.

I bought the Safari Strap from Naturescapes.
My good mates Mark and Michael from "Trekkabout" also got them after I showed them mine.
Carries the weight with a better distribution and easy to unclip when mounting to your tripod.
R-Strap = Brilliant
Been using the Crumpler Industry Disgrace for about 6 months now and it's brilliant.

Following on from my R-Strap comment, I wrote a full review here.
R-Straps are brilliant, either single or double!

Page 34 on here, will provide you some information and pictures of the NG3020, and NG3030.
Hope this helps
+1 for the R-Strap. I made my own one from 25mm webbing, but I used their fittings that I picked up cheap. Lets the camera be ready at a moments notice and awesome when 2 bodies are used.
is there an australian importer/distributor or the rapid straps?
