Sounds like the PSU is shutting down due to an undesirable situation like an overload or overheating. Have you checked to make sure the PSU is still turning ... these have a tendancy to bind after a few years causing the PSU to overheat. Another note, if the system is shutting down for a particular reason it may not be wise to leave it unattended while on ..... just in case

My PC used to shut down like this and it was caused by dust buildup on CPU heatsink just used vac and all was good
Quick update, sorry all been a bit hectic around here ...
Thursday 21st May ... Got my butt down the street, could have knocked me down with a feather .
1st time I've gone into our so called pc shop & ACTUALLY had something in stock.
Took what he had cost me $65 for a Rock 500W . If I wanted better had to wait for him to order it or try my luck in Albury or Shep.
New PSU in, did the pull out & blow thing while in there.
So its been a week tomorrow & all running smoothly (touch wood). Slowly putting software back in. Panels going back on in a few
