My new Verbatim Sata 1Terabyte external drive arrived late yesterday. Somewhere to store photos! (as well as Burning DVDs).
Considering that the 1st computer (IBM 1130 in 1971) I every programmed had 16k 16bit words (32 k bytes) and a 2 Mb hard drive.

Col, its a portable storage device. Plug your memory card into it and it transfers the photos onto it, some have a small screen to view them as well.

As Rick said it’s a portable storage unit, quite a nifty little thing. I can also record videos, play music and I’ve just discovered it has FM radio!
VP8860
Kym, I purchased it from JAL
The 8860 is at the bottom of the list on that page.
Jules, it's a nifty little thing and the screen is a good size for viewing.
Had these two turn up this afternoon. Just need to wait until next week to get a camera to put them in.
Excuse the mobile phone photo.
