They are the cheapest,
I am stoked !!
On Saturday I got a new Nikon 80-200mm f 2.8 and I can't believe how sharp it is.
My first bird shot was taken hand held through the kitchen window across our decking and pool, a distance of about 12 metres. The shot is attached.
I can't wait to get out and put the lens to good use.
Cheers

Some stalk, some chase and some pursue... but I hunt.
Michael and I would like to announce the arrival of a 70-200 VR 2.8 Nikkor,
weighing in at a healthy 'damn heavy"!
OMG, it is so fast, looking forward to using it to its full potential!
Michael is at work so I got to have first play with it, so far only popped it on the D80 cos that was what was on the table. I can tell I'm going to build some serious muscles.
Nice to be some people Lani, I hope you enjoy it and make good use of it.

Hey Deb,
My wife went on a diet and joined curves and she is now an extremely happy much fitter 13 Kg lighter lady. But there is no way she can be coaxed into carrying the new 80-200mm f 2.8 lens for me.
I hope you are happy with your new lens and look forward to seeing your shots from it.
