Hi all,
I've been getting into photography a bit more since getting awesome feedback from the kids in my son's soccer team. Thankfully they're not very critical, they just love seeing photo's of the team in action after each game. This encouraged me enough that I recently upgraded from my 55-250 to a 70-200 f2.8, and then added a 1.4x extender. Currently using an 80D but now, after 5 years, started looking to upgrade to full-frame, likely a 5D Mark IV. There are lot's of opportunities for photography up here, so maybe it'll help me get out of the house more. Soon I'll get to go photo both kids doing the Green Island swim which should be a great photo op.
Being a software developer where nothing is ever finished, I think I like the idea of being able to output finished works to the real world on a regular basis, though I know it's unlikely I'll ever stop learning..
