    Cricket Team photo advice please

    Greetings
just a little advice if possible please.

debating with someone at the club about taking the cricket team photo

In the sun or in the shade.
I prefer to go in to the shade well lit day and use the speedlight for some fill on the faces rather than shadows ( being taken 5-6 pm )
they want it out on the field in the sun glaring in the faces of the kids

    thoughts are appreciated.
I have looked here on site and internet and there is a lot of support for not in direct sun on faces

Constructive Critique and editing of my images is welcome and appreciated.

Shade, or overcast day. Sun causes to many squinty eyes, harsh shadows etc

Constructive Critique of my photographs is always appreciated

Backlit by sun, underexpose the ambient with shutter speed and a large enough f/stop to help with ambient and get everyone in focus, then blast away with strobe, assuming any strobe you have has enough juice.

In front of the Cricket Pavillion as sun goes down behind them with fill flash or in front of them - golden light
