    Monitor tips

Best budget ips monitor for photography needs?

    Im considering lg Ips231p-bn

They tell me it's only 6 bit.

    The other option..Lg ips226v

    Any comments would be welcomed

^^ I'll second that. I have an LG 2340 at work and a Dell 24" ultrasharp at home, while the LG is OK, it is not a patch on the Dell.

I have the Dell U2311h..cheaper than the U2410. I got mine from Harris technology when they had a sale. This thread may be useful www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showthread.php?74657-Monitors-Which-do-you-use

If you're in no hurry the monitors do come up for sale every few months. Price reductions are usually worth the wait.
