Downloaded but not uploaded to the camera as yet..Still have the original firmware..Worth the upload and do i need to upload previouse firmware updates first or can i go straight to this one??..

We didnt inherit this land, we merely borrow it from our Children
You can upgrade from whatever version you have, but you may like to note that v2.0.9 is not the latest; it has since been upgraded to v2.1.1.
I always run the latest firmware, but for the most part, you will probably not notice anything unless you use one of the features which has had a bug fix.
