If you had $100 - What would you buy.

If you had a check for $100 to be spent at your local (or interneternised) camera store. What would you get?

I am looking for ideas to give the family for my birthday.
I know nothing about anything, only what I like.

If I had $100 to spend and did not have them (which I do) I'd go with either a Black Rapid camera strap or an ND filter. Either can be had for that money and are handy items to have.

ND filters or similar. have nearly everything else I need (except for a FF body), and this is the only gap I have where there are useful gadgets I'll continue to use.

Personally i would be looking to start investing in some filters as the others have said. The images that i see and really like seem to have been achieved with one filter or another. I actually do not own any and was thinking of starting a thread asking for advice as the best place to get some.

I was going to suggest a nifty fifty, but see from a recent thread that you already have one. So I'll agree with what's been suggested, If you like taking landscapes then Graduated Neutral Density filters, might be the go, or a Circular Polarising filter. A wireless remote is also a handy little investment. Camera bag, tripod, any books by Scott Kelby.
    Cheers David.

You say for you, what do you need or feel you'd like?

Do you have enough memory space, spare batteries, Lloyd suggested a 'Black Rapid' strap, I for one can vote for them. Comes done to need over want for my liking.

    What do you need ????

If you have the above, how about lunch and a nice bottle with the significant other, and take a snap of that and frame it.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I think I will hint at a better quality CPL (than the dodgy ebay one I have now) or a lightbox. But I will be really pushing for the BR Strap. Or a book...

I like your Idea of the lunch too Roosta.
