    monitor on a mac resolution

    whats the resolution for a mac as the norm i have it set on 1680-1050 but looks weird .
    Canon5D MK 2,Canon 17-40 L ,Canon 24-70 L , [/COLOR],Canon 70-200Mk2 L ,Sigma Fisheye 15mm 2.8 ,Canon 2xMk3 Extender, 430EX11 Flash , Lee Big Stopper & Other Lee Filters.
    Manfrotto 055XPROB + 322RC2 + MBAG80P.
    Critique is allways welcome, Any help and advise will allways be appreciated.

    Long way out Dave , Set it to what Wayne said and the images might not look so Blotchy , I thought it sounded to low

    Mongo's new Imac is the 21.5 inch and is set to 1920 X 1080 and is spot on. Your larger screen will need a higher resolution

    go to the apple symbol on the top left of screen - then to "system preferences" - "display". Make sure of the 3 options in that window (display, arrangement, colour) it is set to "display". A window will open with a list of resolution. Mongo thinks it should be set to the top resolution on that list
