    I've got a photo hanging on my loungeroom wall showing that lighthouse with a guy standing in the doorway on the leeward side whilst a huge wave is breaking - very impressive(scary) - photo/print by Jean Guichard.

    I wonder if my Think Tank Hydrophobia 70-200 Rain Cover would help much...

    There is some spectacular footage in that video, and it really shows how powerful the ocean can be. I suspect that the ocean in that footage is not at its full fury, but that military ship sure got bounced around.

    Wow. Amazing stuff. That lighthouse is located in France I believe. Saw a painting called "Act of Faith" showing a man in the doorway as a storm raged around him in the lighthouse.
