    It's really no surprise eh based on the marketing of Nikon for example that have dslr have pro ability

    Exactly... I saw a sign somewhere a few days ago by Sony, saying something along the lines of... "professional has gone compact", so these people aren't entirely to blame, they're sold a lie to start with...

    I am actually quite relieved to find it was a satire. Suspected as much, but wasn't 100% certain. Phew.
