    My 5 year anniversary

5 years ago today I bought my first beloved Nikon, a D40 with both kit lenses

I still love Nikon. I still love photography. I'm still an early learner or beginner in my eyes

    love you Nikon, xxxxx

5 years old. Makes me wonder sometimes how you got past the terrible two's...

Happy anniversary, get a cake with candles and use that as a reason for getting the beloved Nikon out. I too was a late digital starter after an extended break from old film stuff. Great fun isn't it.

It's one of those moments when an affair is a great distraction from life. An expensive affair, but a good one.

On that note.... We haven't heard much on how Dominic is going after his big operation, and TV appearance. I hope all is well, and you and your family have a wonderful Xmas.

yes, well, not much to report on Dominic, he's tracking along pretty well. He gets a bit tired when it's hot and he's running around, but dont all of us
