Decided to "shave" my signature ;]
    Now mostly shoots with: Canon 5D MK3 & Canon 24-70 f/2.8/50mm f/1.8 (also have a 550D with a variety of lenses/goodies and a Sony Nex-5N)
PP with: Lightroom only, Photoshop is merely a 9-5 work tool for me.

Hilarious! I used to have a pet Galah. He turned up on our front lawn one day, he seemed very tame. He hopped up onto my knee, I said "Hello" and he replied "Hello Cocky!". We put up flyers everywhere for a lost bird but had no response so we bought a big cage and set him up. He was so friendly and playful, sitting on your finger or shoulder, sadly he became very aggressive and would bite very hard...even through thick welding gloves which became the only way we could handle him.
Then one day he apparently worked out how to open the double latch to his cage and got out. A frantic call from my wife at home who was too scared to handle him any more had me in the car racing home from work only to arrive to see him fly off as the local flock of Galahs flew over.

We haven't seen him since, but we hope he is still flying around our local area teaching his new friends how to say "Hello Cocky!", wolf whistle and to bob up and down when excited!
    Cheers,

Just fabulous, Wilky! Galahs are so much fun to watch, aren't they, and you've captured some typically hilarious moments. Thank you for sharing these pics
