Following on from this thread, anyone who'd care to come along this Saturday for some shooting and coffee after at Cafe D'bah please poke your lens up here.
Dwarak has expressed interest and I will charge everything up and go down too. Even if it is rainy the surf is ioften interesting and if the trawlers are returning we can duck round to D'bah for shits of them wallowing towards the rocks like this one.

Canon : 30D, and sometimes the 5D mkIII , Sigma 10-20, 50mm 1.8, Canon 24-105 f4 L , On loan Sigma 120-400 DG and Canon 17 - 40 f4 L , Cokin Filters
I should be ok for feb 10 unless something comes up

And I suggest the wellies and raincoats for humans and cameras would be a good idea!

Jeez, we must be pretty bad company, we've driven him out of the country!
Seriously, it was lovely to catch up with Bill & Stan but the weather wasn't very friendly to us. However, we are doing it again on Thursday so those who can, 4.45 QLD time at Burleigh heads - I will nominate the car park along Goodwin Terrace between surf club and Oscars restaurant as the meet up point. I will make a thread.
