Don't know if you fixed this yet - but take a look at this site, may direct you in the right direction as it does sound like a CODEC problem.

still not too sure how to fix it though..
Haha....ooops! But if your sound is okay in camera and out of sync on PC, must be more PC related. What player have you been using to view your video?
I find VLC pretty good for most varieties of CODEC's
