(Melbourne Pentaxians) I need help for tonight

I was shooting at a function last night and forgot to second check the vertival tilt lock on the tripod and the camera fell backwards (not off the tripod) with the flash on to. the flash snaped off and has broken the hot shoe.

I have an awards night tonight for the School and I am wondering if there is any melbourne pentaxians near Chadstone that can lead (rent/hire) me a good flash. I've been using a Sigma EF-610 DG Super P-TTL. Or somwhere I can get a quick repair.

Ok...... So I managed to get by with some fishing wire to hold it on.

But is it still repairable? or do I need to get a new one?

Link to repair of 530 super, the parts would be available I'm sure & appears quite easy to do yourself.

    Good luck

    Thanks for the link Kevin.

It look easy, but they don't say how to get the parts. I've have a look aound the Sigma sites but no luck.
I'll take it to C.R.Kennedy and hopefuly they can get the parts quickly.
