I shop here too, they aren't the cheapest, but offer GREAT advice. I pay the bit extra for that advice and service.

i picked up a 580EX II yesterday, and they helped me put a portable lighting solution together to suit my needs (automotive photography), which i'll pick up in a few weeks.

JB HIFI, The cheapest. Just know what you want and the price, they always seem to be able to beat it.
    I bought D700 + 14-24 + 24-70 + 70-200 and they were between $800 and $1900 cheaper than everywhere else.

Michaels in the city. Do your online research at the likes of www.d-d-photographocs.com.au and then ask if they will meet your price. They usually give it a pretty good go.
Example was this week I purchased a Canon G12 P&S. Michaels original price was $589 and they met my $539 price.
If they will meet or get close to the online price then its worthwhile supporting the B&M stores. Cause if we don't they wont be there!
