Looks like it nearly nailed a fly.
I would strongly advise you to get a can of Mortein and then take charge of the camera and tell it what you want it to focus on instead of letting it decide.
AndrewNikon, Fuji, Nikkor, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina and too many other bits and pieces to list.
Right!
From now on no more going to a raceway unless they have their flyscreens installed!!

What you mean the little dot to the Left of the windscreen , Thats easy , Dont use Multi point Focusing
Canon : 30D, and sometimes the 5D mkIII , Sigma 10-20, 50mm 1.8, Canon 24-105 f4 L , On loan Sigma 120-400 DG and Canon 17 - 40 f4 L , Cokin Filters
As will be the usual advice, the camera and lens are front focusing.
Do the focus tests and set AF fine tune on this lens to -100 to set the gear up right and you won't ever have a problem again!

Set your 'release' to 'focus only' and you will not take another OOF shot.
