    Time lapse - share yours!

Has anyone made any time lapse videos? feel free to post them here

I did my first attempt on Sunday, hardest part was being patient!
Editing is a little odd/messy, but hopefully you can enjoy it

each photo was set to a length of 0.04seconds = 25fps= 1750 photographs for this 1min10sec vid
makes you worry about shutter life! (i had it on live view to at least keep the mirror up)
Not sure how you can do that if you've got intervals between your shot because you would have the LCD screen come on and chew up your battery...
Fortunatly all my shots were continuous so the LCD never came on

that was a very smooth and relaxing video to watch
I haven't shot one for a while but seeing as my 5dmkII is only at 42000 clicks after 2.5 years of use, I might do more!
    This one's from 2010

    Nice one dylan.
I can see you clearly had quicker shutter speeds than me, was interesting to see the difference in the result.
Suppose as i had boats in the distance, it worked better having time sped up quicker, whereas you had people close up so that worked better for yours.

BTW incase you were wondering, i used a Hoya ND400 filter (9stop) to get 4 second exposures in daylight for the first clip

I removed original vid as a mate decided to make some music for this (he didn't like my original choice!)

I've only done a couple, and have some ideas for more, so here goes.

    The disappearing act
I saw this cloud hanging over the water at Scarborough and thought it might make a good subject:

    Pulse
This is a series of one minute exposures taken at dawn. I was able to control the light at sunrise a little by stopping down gradually between exposures:

what is everyone using for editing these videos.

I was unable to figure out a way to shorten all clips in premier pro, and couldn't be bothered doing them individually (1000+ photos o_0) and free programmes are horrid.
    Thanks.

I enjoyed the clips thanks for sharing there is something magical viewing that style of production. Call me weird but I lke the first music clip rather than the second.
