Its wet and miserable so I won't be making it. Its a pity the weather turned like this.
    Cheers,

If anybody wanted to know how the meet went in Melbourne photographically, this is what the conditions were like. As you can see, Melbourne really turned on it's usual style of weather. I showed up a bit before 5 and took this just to prove that I was there but decided to call it quits and head home seeing how the likelyhood of any sunset shots seemed remote at this point although I did manage to get a couple of street shots which I'll post in the appropriate forum when I've processed them. I would have loved to have hung around to see if anybody else showed up but it takes around 45 minutes by train to get close to home and a half hour walk from the station to actually get home so my apologies for not sticking around. If we have another meet in the city on a day with better weather, I'll definitely be there.

I actually made it into the city today as well, but the weather was horrendous. I didn't even get to Southbank, or take the camera out of the bag. Sorry about that. Hopefully next time the weather will be kinder.

Yeh I was up the the Yarra Ranges very early so I could make it to the meet. The rain was very heavy all the way, I said to the wife we've got to get back to Southbank by 4. Well it never let up, so decided not to bring the gear out into the rain.
Hopefully next meet with better weather.

I was heading out to the car at about 3.00 but didn't like the look of the weather & its a 1 1/2 hr drive each way, so decided not to risk it.
