    I agree, all professional sporting events should be open for everyone to bring whatever camera gear they want and to be able to stand or operate wherever they want. All media photos, sponsor photos, commercial use photos etc could then be crowdsourced from Flickr and everyone would be heppy

    I think the blanket ban is/was a knee jerk reaction. Certianly restrict commercial sales/distribution, but personal use should allow forum posting
