@ Jules, Turn off the Gold Coast Hwy off Currumbin Bridge, Into Durangan St , Follow it to the beach and the carpark is on the Northern end of Pacific Pde , I Tried to put a map here but could'nt , David can

BTW have you priced a second hand starter from the Wreckers ?

Quite a lot of people on RedBubble and Flickr had the same experience. I know, it is on public display and they encourage people to take photos, but the angst of it all was too much for me. Never again.

My auto electrician, who is a wonderful man and got us 12 months more on this starter motor and only charged $90, advised against a second hand one. I am calling in to see him today as it is going to the mechanic round the corner for it's 10,000 km grease and oil change.

One down , One to go, Had a nice morning out with David (dbax) and a friend , If wer're lucky it should be a good Sunrise if we get some cloud , There is smoke in the air from Bushfires , Still heaps of people around having a look , See you all tomorrow

lovely meet with fellow AP'ers this morning,

not a cloud in the sky

.....but a heavy smoke haze which surprised us with a wonderful blood red sunrise, spectacular start to the day. lovely breakie at the surf club after.
