How is this achieved?

not sure if posting in right section :S

but wondering how a photos from Clubs/bars/events etc. achieve a particular look. it's a bit hard to describe but I guess everyone looks really smooth and glossy?

my first guess would be Flash, and second would be post work?

Post a link to the images and not the images themselves, that is allowed cyza, hope this helps. Dave
