    New lens,example and further thoughts

Just thought some of you might be interested to see some examples of the Sigma 17-50 2.8 HSM OS I picked up the other day, I still havnt had a real go with it yet, But here is a shot I took while waiting for tea tonight.

This is straight out of the camera and converted from raw no other PP. The second being a 100% crop. This was shot at 50mm, 1/200,f5.6, Auto white balance and flash

So far I am very happy and am having a hard time faulting the lens, The only thing I have noticed is that it may focus hunt a bit more than my canon gear in poor light.
For anyone looking to upgrade from their kit lens and is baulking at the pricing of their respective first party lens I highly recomend trying this lens out.

I don't have enough lenses to make comparisons but I would be very happy with what you have here.

Avoid shooting with a 12 gauge shotgun. Use a Canon instead.

    Canon 5D, Canon 7D, 50mm 1.4, 18-55mm, Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 VC, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8, 580EX Speedlight. Facebook
