    auto bracketing help

    hi guys

i cant seem to work out how to use the autobracketing on my 60D
i just want to be about to take the 3 shots and different exposures automatically. i used to be able to do this on my 450D
and when i try to do it the same way as i did with the 450d i can only get the 60D to shoot one image and not 3.

im hoping that someone on here can shed some light on this for me

It's on page 121 of the instruction manual. Not surprisingly, it says the same as mudman's link.

    G'day Harper

On many dSLRs you need to do 2 things for AEB to work
    1- set your EV +/- limits ... ie +/- 2/3EV [my pref] or +/- 1EV if needed
    then
2- set burst to 'on' so that the camera will take the 3 bracketing images with one press of the shutter button

ps- many cameras give a [menu] choice of 3 or 5 AEB exposures,
..... some cameras ask you to choose whether all the bracketing is to go to the + side or the - side of 'normal'

    Hope this assists your 'confusion'
    Regards, Phil
